by: Rushhey guys! so I am from Ohio, and I'm going to USC this fall. I went to a well respected private school, i'm pretty and I have a very nice wardrobe! I'm planning on rushing and I wanted some tips. being out of state I'm disadvantaged, but my sister went to USC and ended up getting a great sorority! i just wanna make sure i have really good chances! i want tri delt, chi o or adpi. Please everyone let me know what i need to to maximize my chances. other then recommendation letters, what else should i do??

Sorry, but what is this year with PNMs (and some parents) going all over this website, posting identifying info and then announcing they're only interested in specific sororities???? Such bad form! It's rude and offensive to other chapters, who might cut you because they think you won't be open to others. Bids are limited and they might not chance wasting one on someone who has boldly stated other preferences. And if your chosen ones drop you, where are you on Bid Day? Sitting in your dorm.
PNMs are posting where they're from, GPAs, activities, legacy info, and giving physical descriptions of themselves. Please, just stop, stop, stop making it easy to figure out your identity during rush, and stop posting specific houses you want. To this poster, you have not said as much as some, but don't say anymore. Tips? SEC recruitment is very, very competitive. Rush with an open mind and look for the sisterhood that best suits you. Those who show interest in just a few chapters raise their chances of having an unsuccessful rush. Of course, if your sister is currently an active in a USC chapter, that will probably effect your outcome.
