what are the odds of not getting a bid from any sorority at all during recruitment? does that happen often?

Literally if you go through recruitment you get a bid unless you suicide. That’s why girls here need to chill. It’s not special to be in a sorority because literally everyone gets in. Let’s stop with the everyone Is great here crap.

Honestly there is a slim chance that you will get your favorite house. Keep an open mind though. You will get a bid if you are open to all of the houses. A couple of the houses still have trouble meeting quota so almost everyone can get a bid.

I talked to a PNM during recruitment first round who never smiled once and wouldn’t say anything to me more than a one word answer. I saw her later in the year and asked how everything turned out with recruitment (just trying to be friendly because she clearly recognized me). She told me that she did not get any houses for pref, she was dropped from the process. This can happen but literally to like 1% of girls. You’d have to totally not make conversation at all with anyone the entire time going through rush to be dropped by every single house.
