rushing as a sophomore

okay so let's just say I was a real freshman last year (I went out A LOT and did some borderline stupid stuff..). How would this affect me during rush? I did see a lot of girls who I know are in certain sororities very often at different bars. Because they saw me downtown and at parties, would this make me a liability or do sororities not necessarily care that much to just write me off because of this? I have a really solid GPA and I know a couple of girls in each sorority, I'm not a crazy crackhead or anything, I just went out a lot to have fun. I very occasionally got sloppy but not as often as a lot of other girls I know, I was mostly taking care of my sloppy friends..
Also, I heard from a couple of girls about an upperclassman quota? Would this help my chances during rush? I'm coming in with an open mind and I genuinely want to find the right house for me, just looking for honest answers!
