spring recruitment
by: Idkhey I'm a sophomore and was thinking about doing spring recruitment. Anyone know what houses are doing it and how it works? idc about "tiers" or anything, I just wanna find a group of girls I'll love!! :)

Spring recruitment is usually for chapters who haven't meet chapter quota. Usually Gphi, Piphi and Axid do spring recruitment. Piphi did good during recruitment so they may not do spring recruitment this year. I would honestly wait until fall recruitment and rush then.

from what Ive heard being in a sorority that is still giving bids, 5 houses this year are.
Pi Phi
G Phi
Zeta
Alpha Xi
and either AGD or Phi Mu
The shock this year was Zeta not making quota.

Do you know how I would go about getting on the list so to speak or being recruited by the chapters participating? I know for a lot of them you just have to know girls but is there any other way to be really considered? I really want to join a sorority to find that awesome group of friends here in college :)

Spring recruitment can be done by chapters who aren't at TOTAL. Chapters who made quota in the fall (which was almost everyone) can still do spring recruitment if they have open spots in their chapter. This can be from girls graduating in the fall or dropping. The chapter will decided if they want to go through the trouble of putting on events and then will decided how many their taking. This could literally be anywhere from 1 or 2 girls to a dozen depending on how much room a chapter has based on TOTAL.
