cob

So I had to drop rush this year because of reasons I couldn't control which was super disappointing, especially because I had a few houses that I really really loved. I'm hoping some will be doing COB this year but I don't really know how that works. How would I try to get a bid that way and when does it take place?

So you can go online to the Greek life page and there should be a place where you can send in a resume for COB and any chapters participating can review it and choose to reach out to you or not. It's difficult this year because some chapters that don't usually hit quota have this year. Any chapter not at total is eligible for COB, but they don't have to if they're happy with what they have. You may have to wait until Spring because chapters will have a better idea of what they'll want to do it then.

I'd say more than likely Pi Phi and Gamma Phi will be doing COB, and probably Alpha Xi too since they're new and don't have as many girls. Personally I would rather do recruitment again as a sophomore than try to do COB unless you like a chapter that is doing COB

oh okay, yeah I actually am a sophomore so I'm feeling like COB or spring rush will probably be my best bet at this point lol

Pi Phi met quota so from what I heard from my friend in their they are not doing snap bids.

Girls dropping is also a factor for COB. It's inevitable, every chapter will have a few girls drop. Depending on that number some chapters will COB.

Quota and total are different. You can hit quota but still be under total, hence COB

I think AXID is doing COB. They were the only sorority it seemed to not hit quota.
