because their roots go deep. KA & SAE have been the best Houses on this campus for over 100 years. SN was gone for a while but had a huge alumni base that built them back up quickly.
they get the best in-state guys who went to high school with all the hot in-state girls and have their pick of the best out of state guys.

new england prep kids tend to get grouped into chi psi, pi kapp or beta.
hardly any true new england preps though, majority of these are still around the dc area

all 3 are a mix of both. SAE & KA have a few more guys from Heathwood, Porter, Ashley, etc. SN is more public school.
