sorority recommendations

Hi! I am a sophomore going through sorority rush this fall. How crucial are reccomendations? So far I have only been able to find and secure recs for 2 sororities. Will this be a problem?

no definitely not a problem! i only had 3 and ended up getting cut from those three houses after the first round anyway. i'm pretty sure they never even get read at some houses

This isn't USC 10 years ago or bama. Even adpi has a ton of Yankees. Recall can't hurt but don't really matter at USC these days

Legacy status and recommendations are taken somewhat into account, but are not a guarantee into any sorority. I was a legacy and got dropped, and I know girls who came in with recommendations from people from the exact USC chapter who got dropped. Spend more time trying to make personal connections with the girls in a house through recruitment, that'll go a lot further. And keep an open mind, all houses are great!

I would get them if you are able. It doesn't hurt - the people who helped you with the recs you have can probably help you find contacts for the other groups.
