general reputations of sororities and if legacy he

by:

I'm planning on rushing this upcoming fall and I'm extremely nervous as I've heard that rushing in SEC schools is really competitive and emotionally draining. I know for a fact that I want to join a sorority but I really have no information about any of them. SO if anyone could give me the unbiased, general reputations of the sororities that would be awesome. Also, My mom was a part of XO at UNC Chapel Hill , will that help my chances at all?? I know it won't guarantee me a bid but I just wanted to know how important Legacy was in general... thanks!

Don't come on here and look for information. The best advice is to go in with an open mind and not worry about what others say. You'll have a better time throughout the process

Being a leg can definitely help so it ups your chances but not guaranteed

The best way to help yourself is to not read the garbage on this website. You'll receive a packet giving you the basic information of each chapter. If you want to know more about a chapter you can check out their social media. Any other questions you have can be answered by your Pi Chi when recruitment starts. You'll come to find that there really isn't that big of a difference between chapters (Just maybe egos.) Just go in with an open mind and be yourself. That's how you end up where you belong.

As for being a legacy. It may help you get through a round for most chapters, but it's not a guaranteed bid. At the end of the day you've gotta connect with the girls in that chapter.

Now get off here and welcome to USC.

i would say the rush process is draining but sooo worth it! just really long days full of standing and having conversations and stuff. in regards to being competitive its important to have your grades where they need to be cuz thats where first round cuts mostly come from but you'll definitely fit in where you need to be so trust the process. legacy isnt as important here as in other schools but it helps get thru first round! if you can have a good conversation with girls and were involved in high schools thats kind of what theyre looking for in a girl usually.

rank wise these are the ones that id say have the most fun/outgoing/social girls and are consistently ranked pretty high and really involved : adpi, tri delt, kd, zeta, chi o, axo
