by: helpI feel so unwelcome in the chapter I ended up in. I don't fit in here at all and the other pledges in my chapter aren't responsive either. I want to drop. how do I go about doing this and should I do it??

Slow down girl. It's literally been 1 day. Get over your fears and try. You've already signed your MRABA card, you can't rush for another year, so you may as well give the chapter you have a chance. First off you'll have new member meeting once a week. Make an effort to get to know your pledge class. They'll probably do dumb ice breakers to help you out. Second, you will meet older members each week who will be your potential big. They will take you out and make an effort to get to know you. Third, functions have the word fun in it for a reason. Attend your chapters first function. If after a month you still aren't feeling it and you've actually tried, THEN drop. You get out of this what you put into it. It literally won't cost you anything to try to like the chapter you're in and actually give it a chance. You may surprise yourself.

Isn't there something hat releases you if you drop out the first week? I'm sorry to hear that and I hope it gets better for you!
