dropped after first round
by: confusedjust wondering what the main reason most sororities dropped girls first round was... there were a few houses i thought i had great conversations with and did not get invited back to. idgi??

Agreeing with the person who said grades. Each sorority has a grade cut off and no matter what type of conversation you had with them, it doesn't matter and they will cut you. There is no getting around that cut off. This was the biggest cut and more than half of all girls will be cut from each

Additionally, sororities that have historically rushed well have to cut large numbers due to the way their formula for how many girls a sorority needs to invite back works. So even though PNM's cut from 12 houses to 9 (3/4 left), some sororities have to cut down from 1600 to 800 (1/2) so obviously the math gets a little tricky and some girls end up with less houses than others.
