by: considerthisPlease go through recruitment with an open mind. That sounds so cliche but it is true. Do not go through recruitment with only wanting X because someone said it was the best. Do not not join a sorority because someone else said it wasn't a good one. Each sorority has its pros and cons. Recruitment is one big show. You have to go through each house and imagine if you can see yourself hanging out there on a weekly basis and hangout with the people who are in it. One other thing is be nice to everyone (even if you do not want to join that sorority)! Recruitment is hard but it doesn't have to be. Join the sisterhood who makes you feel like you are at home. Good luck!

Pay attention to how you feel in each house. If you feel like you're trying to put on a "show" of sorts or are thinking you have to act a certain way for them to like you...don't join it. Look for where you fit in already. That's how you have the best experience. No one wants to pretend to be someone they aren't for four years
