honest descriptions and advice for all pnms

To all PNMs, this site should be taken with a grain of salt. These are all peoples opinions. Use this sight smartly and look to see what the other comments on a post before taking it too seriously. That being said, recruitment will be stressful. Girls who you judged as being "bottom tier" will go to "top tier" houses and vice versa. It is important to remember that you can find a house you absolutely love, even if it is not in the top four or six. Here is an honest, as unbiased as possible list based on widely accepted generalizations
AXO-typically known to be partiers. Generally have some pretty girls that are well known with the boys, particularly the northern frats. They do have some high achieving girls, they just tend to be more plain Janes. Overall a very party girl, mid-Atlantic vibe.
ADPi-as stated in numerous posts before, these girls are at one end of the spectrum or the other. They're either crazy wild partiers who try to cultivate a Christian image, or they're actually good Christian "Jesus-freaks". They're typically the type of girls who have it together, although less so in recent years. Almost always southern and smart.
AGD-one of the newer sororities on campus. Typically described as nice but don't seem to really have a reputation yet other than that they're relaxed. usually not said to be hot, but it has been stated that their recent pledge classes have been attractive and fun. Still lower-middle at best but actively working their way up in the ranks.

XO-sometimes described as top tier because of their involvement and philanthropy. Have a good mix of pretty girls and not so pretty ones. Typically very stoner-ish and relaxed so they're popular with the frats. Very genuine girls though
DDD-these are the girls that you hate because they think they're all that. But their self righteousness isn't completely unfounded. They're packed full of pretty girls and typically have a lot of money. Other than that, there's not much else to them. They're only friends with each other because they're hot. Arguable the most hated sorority on campus.
DZ-what could be described as a "background" sorority, they're so relaxed and diverse that they're forgettable. No general vibe from the whole group. Some are stoners, some are jesusy, and some are wild. This diversity does lead to some cliques within the house, but overall generally thought to be smart and have a goodish sisterhood just terribly forgettable.

GPhiB-arguably the "bottom house" at USC. They do not have anywhere near the amount of girls required, for two reasons. Bad reputation, and sometimes bad sisterhood. These girls often get the weird girl rep, but are usually extremely nice girls who are dedicated to their philanthropy. Just not very popular.
KD-their old reputation was one of pretty southern girls who come from old money, but this has been lost in previous years. They're now kind of non-cohesive and while they're still very involved in campus wide events like homecoming, they don't really do much individually. Sometimes known to be very catty other ones are the sweetest girls you'll ever meet. Recruit based on personality now rather than looks.
KKG-another somewhat forgettable sorority. These girls have kind of earned the reputation as crazy among the frats. They're the girls who, yes may be pretty, but are constantly posting emotional high school stuff on their Twitter. They do put on a good rush and are seen at party's but that's typically as far as their involvement goes.
PhiMu-they're not nearly as old as other sororities at USC, but they've cultivated a very good girl, driven image in the 10 years they've been here. They're typically very focused and studious and dedicated to their philanthropy. However the younger pledge classes have been known to get a little wild at parties, but never the completely blacked out sloppy drunk girl. Overall a very well rounded sorority for the most part.

PiPhi-the newest girls on campus, but already have a reputation of being rude. They're typically thought of as bitter due to their low standing, but they're also a very diverse group of girls. Really a mixed bag of girls who either fell through the system or couldn't get a bid anywhere else. They've been making a name for themselves, but not without cost to their reputation.
ZTA-another sorority that is arguably the most hated on campus. You either love or hate these girls because unfortunately, their stereotype is true for the most part. While there are a few girls who do not fit, overall they're very fake and sometimes unfriendly. But the frats love them so they are still popular. Even those outside the greek system know their reputation, which seems to be a national one.
AXiD-good luck.

Honestly if you're trying to generalize a stereotype for groups of 300-400 women you need a reality check. Plus, people tend to forget the good things in people and only perpetuate the negative. That girl who was "rude" to you? Maybe she has a lot going on in her life. That girl you saw black out drunk at a party? don't tell me you've never gotten too drunk at before. People need to stop being so judgmental and take a look at themselves. you're only projecting this kind of hate because of your own insecurities. Every woman in every organization has some kind of flaw, but she is also has INNUMERABLE strengths. Stop hating and trying to create a divide when what we really need is to come together and support each other to become the best we can be. We are all women. We are all beautiful. And we should all support one another.

Throwing hate at ZTA and tridelt because that's honestly how they are viewed, end of story. If you don't like it then change it or drop the chapter. This is the way it is, stop complaining and do something about it if you don't like your sororities stereotype. "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Jeez. Stereotypes exist in Greek life, period. We can keep trying to change that, but they aren't just going to disappear overnight.
On a side note, as far as I can see this post is very much accurate stereotypes wise. If a PNM simply must know a sororities "reputation" at USC this is the list to look at.

Stfu @ everyone complaining. Some not favorable things were said about my chapter, but that doesn't mean they aren't true. In fact, EVERYTHING on this list is spot on. Yeah maybe not all 400 something girls fit exactly that stereotype, but the reputation of the sorority as a whole is exactly what this post said and is true for a lot of the girls in that chapter.
If you're that upset about what they said then maybe actively try to make a change in your sorority. It's your fault the sorority is like that as a whole. For example, the superficial PNMs will only accept a bid from a top tier house so what's the result of that? An entire chapter that consists of superficial girls. The reason lower tier sororities are generally a lot more relaxed and nice is because the girls that wanted those houses were genuinely looking for a group that would support them and be their friends despite rank.

While I do agree we all need to better ourselves, it doesn't change the fact that there are still so many immature and superficial girls/guys who come through rush. Stereotypes will exist for as long as people are judging groups of people off of a 15 minute interaction. Greek life (especially sororities) at USC are entirely too big not to have a stereotype associated with them. If you want to be part of an overall "nicer, more loving" council then you need to get out of one of the souths biggest universities/greek life systems.
I'm not fighting progress at all because I do believe that we are all equal, some are just more educated than others, but this isn't an idealistic system. Greek life is intended to separate people by likes, dislikes, morals, overall character... It wasn't created to bring all people together, it was created to bring likeminded individuals together, which will naturally cause some friction within subgroups. It's like political parties. If you don't support this then you shouldn't be a part of greek life.
