Why doesn't Sig Ep have a house yet?

AGD is currently residing in the old Sig Ep house. They have the house til like 2019 or something like that

Doesn't really answer the question though. Is SigEp too poor to afford a house or are they not allowed to have one or what?

old sig ep (was just below top tier when top tier actually had some really good fraternities - that no longer exist) had a house. even if this new sig ep sucks it's still usc sig ep and they still own the house so the assumption is they will get it back eventually (whenever the lease term ends)

Alumni and nationals don't want them in a house because they are afraid they will party.

They keep telling the rushees that they will get their house next year. Then next year. Then next year ...

Actually the school owns the house (land + building). The alumni corp has a 50 year lease with terms that suck and make it a virtual dorm. Doesn't matter. The current guys will likely never live there.

They are poor nerds who couldn't afford it or fill it because they have like thirty kids, all who were too afraid to join a fraternity that didn't garuntee no hazing so they are all super soft.
