Alpha Xi Delta - ΑΞΔ Sorority at University of South Carolina Columbia - USC 3.2 AXDs are new to campus, and I think they have done the best they possibly could have done. I already graduated, but I was a member of Pi Phi 2 years after their recolonization, and I can attest it is hard work being the newer chapter on campus. There is so much more pressure, individual members have to stand out more, and if one or two members hurt the sorority’s reputation, it has a much bigger impact on their overall reputation. You can’t be as picky when selecting members because you struggle to meet quota not because you’re a bad sorority, but just because you’re new and people don’t know what to expect for the future of your chapter. AXDs have handled all of these challenges with grace and an impressive effort. If any AXDs are reading this, I was there when you guys first colonized, and we (Pi Phis) were cheering you on from afar during recruitment. Everyone was talking about how we knew how you felt and we knew the challenges you were going to face, and we all wanted you to succeed as much as we wanted ourselves to succeed. Genuinely proud of the successes they have already had, and I look forward to hearing about their growth in future years! Keep up the good work!

edit: you’re starting to hear more about them on campus now. Do really well during homecoming and Greek week. Loved their dances for spurs and struts and Greek sing last year
