aphi or axo?

Well the funny thing is, that you should really rush whichever house you think will have the better rush. It's odd to think that you should rush whichever will have the better rush, considering that your decision plays a part in which has the better rush, but it is the truth. AXO has better seniors and juniors, juniors by quite a bit, but APhi has a better sophomore class. What this means is that these two houses have one of the most important rushes for a sorority. AXO is going to have a good rush, so is APhi, next semester both will be top 5 houses, but one will be top 3. APhi on the other hand is on the rise, if they get a great rush class then they'll almost definitely have the 3rd sorority spot because they'll have an easier time rushing next semester with good sophomores and good freshman. AXO has great juniors and a sort of mishmash sophomore class that isn't very close, a strong freshman rush class and they'll be right back to a SOLID 3rd that won't be disrupted anytime soon. They'll be as stable at 3 as AOPi and GPhi are at 1 and 2, but that's dependent on this rush class.

you'll see during rush where you fit in the best and where you'll be happiest. don't narrow down to only two houses so early, or you'll end up hurt. many end up where they wouldn't have considered. on that note, aphi has definately gotten better with pc13, but also got MUCH cattier. as a lu greek not in either of those two houses, I have friends in aphi pc13 who outright say they don't like it and it's cliquey. On the otherhand, every axo girl I have met seems genuinly happy. But what about piphi,gphi,aopi,zeta, agam, theta? consider all your options

In the end you should go wherever you feel more comfortable. axo aopi and gphi are considered top tier, but honestly tier level shouldnt stop you from looking at every house equally. I have friends in both houses who like both. Aphi got a better pledge class then they've had in years past, and axo girls have a really close sophmore pc. Frats would rather party with axo if given the choice though. Let rush decide for you dont narrow your options too soon.
