poll: what changes might help the greeks?

1. hosting more fun philanthropic events without alcohol - I would say this is a good option, but it happens a lot. Many houses put on events either at their house or on the front lawn. I remember DU, Theta Chi, and I think Sig Chi having some really fun philanthropy events that a lot of students went to and enjoyed. It seems like the anti-Greek geeds like to forget about these with their selective memories.
2. having a large social once a semester where all Greeks can attend - This is what I picked. As I'm not in a house I'm not sure if this happens or not (I feel like it does?) but if it doesn't I'm sure it would be great. I know a lot of people who have friends in other houses that they don't get to see much because of conflicts, so I think it would benefit those people the most, but definitely help Greeks see what other houses are like and branch out more.
3. more peer mentoring between members in houses - Again, I'm not sure about this. But as I see in accreditation reports, it looks like this happens a lot. Not sure how legit it is or how seriously it is taken, but if it is legit and serious then I don't know how more would really help as it seems like all the Greeks do this.
I'm not sure if anything behind the scenes would help. I think the Greeks need to 1) be open and public about the good they bring and 2) pray the administration eases up, society changes, and people stop scapegoating them for the mistakes of others.

1. Smaller parties (more closed to just greeks and very close friends).
2. No social media - don't let people post parties before and after )no pics/videos)
3. Start your underground plans now - 50/50 chance all house will be disaffiliated within 3 years - start thinking about contingency plans now so your group continues with no affiliation with Lehigh [and embrace that disaffiliation - it will smell like freedom].
