who is gunnin' to destroy greek life?

We should know what we are up against - no need to name names, but departments/titles would be good to know.
1. Administrators?
2. Faculty?
3. LUPD?
4. Board?
Or is the pressure from other groups like parents, geeds, main stream media, alumni, and ranking groups like USNWR?

I don't think that people want to destroy Greek Life. However, the message is clear that Greek Life needs to evolve. The significant number of party related deaths across the country scares parents, and potentially creates a significant legal liability for the administration if they know what is happening, but fail to enforce it. Even staunch supporters of Greek Life are concerned when they see that 26 Penn State students are still facing criminal charges. The issue is further complicated because of the drinking age. It could make sense to raise the drinking age, but that is likely to trigger a rise in drunken driving.
The crackdown on Greek parties is not a Lehigh issue per se. It is a Greek Life issue nationally. Penn State, Pitt, Penn, Laf, Michigan, Ohio State, Indiana, and Florida State are all cracking down. Even if they don't want to, their attorneys are telling them that the schools' potential liability is too high to do anything else.

Dean H ain't your friend-- his skateboarding, bow-tie, wearing, intersectionality BS, belies his true agenda: to dump Lehigh's party rep and every frat is on his privilege-busting to-do list. Don't be fooled, but don't be stupid either. Keep it together, keep your bros in line.

I keep seeing the schools liability being a reason, but I’m every case I’ve heard of in the news, it’s always the same: Frat kicked off, president/pledgemaster and those directly involved face legal charges, and the rest of the brothers are delt with by the University.
