If you dropped out because you didn't get the one you wanted, you may have an opportunity to reconsider. They are not really as different as you might think.
It is possible that when it is done, there may be a few snap bids available for one or two sororitys. That happened last year.

seems the admin would rather not have more greek social groups at this time (regardless of gender) - future orgs are likely non-gender specific and promote cultural diversity or some educational themes (may use greek letters to confuse alums that greek life exists)
the future at Lehigh looks like social life at harvard, bowdoin, yale, and williams not like w&l, fl state, ole miss, and tulane
the reason the admin has been headed in this direction for several years is that traditional frats and sororitys are a perceived privilege issue (alcohol/student safety is the excuse or cover) - the admin wants to virtue signal other schools about how it has been reducing the institutions of exclusions
#9by: Based on Kd
My friend in Kd told me this is how Kd replaced DG: basically Lehigh has to say that they’re interested in accepting a new sorority and then potential sorority’s nationals compete to get a charter at Lehigh. Then once Lehigh picks a new sorority, people from nationals and others schools come in to rush girls. And you’re not guaranteed a bid just because you’re not in a sorority - you still have to fit in
