girls dirty rush
by: froshdo i not stand a chance unless i was actively trying to dirty rush last semester? i didnt put much effort in just bc the girls ik who did seemed obsessive about it. i feel like the top four houses dirty rushed so much its not even worth trying to rush them

It is true that top houses do a fair amount of dirty rush. However, they still have spots to fill except maybe GPhi. Your chance is less, but not zero for a top house, but it's a lot better at the middle houses.
Because of this dirty rush, there are a lot of amazing girls who end up at the middle houses. The differences are just not as great as they may seem on here, and the decisions can be very superficial. A lot of great girls that didn't dirty rush and spent their first semester trying to get settled into school fall to the middle houses because there are only so many places are available.
Unfortunately, some girls think they are GPhi, Alpha Phi, or AoPi material, and are rude to the middle houses, then they end up with no bids at all.
I would try for a top house but also consider which middle house is a good fit, in case you don't get a bid from a top house.

Not op but I’m in a similar situation. I like the idea of being in a middle house but are the top houses even open minded about formal rush?
