question abt rush
by: ??During sorority recruitment, do the girls in the house know who you are/ are they specifically assigned to talk to you on rush days?? I’ve heard some rumors like they project you on a screen and judge you on something like ur Instagram before they even meet you. Are these true?

Before a round starts a sorority girl knows which freshmen she will be talking to and will know what you submitted during registration (ie major and hometown). Some houses, not all, will prepare a powerpoint about you, including pictures and other interests your social media shows. I would recommend cleaning up your insta and facebook if any sorority girls follow you.

And don’t forget, just because you may have hung out with and met a bunch of sophomores in a sorority, you are not necessarily a shoe-in. There’s an entire house of girls who have a vote/say. I’ve seen girls get dropped just because they didn’t gel w a random upperclassman. Be humble. And keep an open mind.
