"What’s going on with recruitment?
The timeline for the investigation will extend through January, and will not conclude prior to the
beginning of the spring semester. As a result, Alpha Chi Omega will be unable to participate in
Panhellenic Formal Recruitment. The Panhellenic Council is currently working through minor
adjustments to the logistics of recruitment to accommodate the change which will be
communicated during PNM Orientation on Tuesday, January 16 at 5 PM.
What does this mean for PNMs and Panhellenic chapters?
There is just as much opportunity for PNMs to join our community. There is not a limited number
of spots available in the recruitment process. Should registration numbers reflect previous years,
the 8 active chapters would likely end up with slightly larger new member classes.
Will Alpha Chi Omega be able to take a new member class in spring 2018?
Their ability to offer bids to potential new members will be determined following the conclusion of
the investigation and any outcomes resulting from the disciplinary processes."

Most sororities take between 26-32 girls. All of that depends on how many people the sorority house can hold so it fluctuates every year for every house. Due to AXO being suspended, each house may take a few more girls than usual which just means more forced triples when you’re a sophomore. The number of bids a sorority is allowed to give us calculated by panhel.
