no, you are not sigma chi
by: SimonI will make sure that this university does not allow another merge. I will go out of my way. Stop combining with houses you literally have had no affiliation wiith, they just want your building. Current psi u kids, i know it sounds great to move “up” in the tiers, but it’s not at all because of you guys personally, and that is like a slap in the face. Girls in soroites who feel they can only party with “top guys” and “top houses”, shame on all of you. Differentiate a bit and socialize with more houses, including the actual psi u kids. Stop this system of tiers and ranks, it will end, wether this entitlement ends, of greek life as a whole ends. Stop.
#4by: Common sense
Getting rid of greek life won't stop some people being considered cooler than others or girls being over concerned with status and you cant stop eligible freshman from joining a frat of their choice. This is probably a bad move for psi U but either way your post lacks any knowledge of how society or the lehigh community work.
#5by: Not a fan
I was a fan of the Lambda-Dchi merger, but not with this one so much. Here's why:
Dchi was completely incompetent to be on the hill, their numbers where in the mid teens, and they where not getting enough new members to meet minimum occupancy. If it wasn't for lambda, dchi wouldn't be kicked off the hill for under occupancy.
Psi U isn't a large frat either, but they have been able to constantly recruit enough new members to stay on the hill.
Top frats at Lehigh have a short life span (none of the current top frats were top frats 10 years ago). Any frat that merges with a top frat will get kicked off in the near future, especially in today's climate.
So, either way, Dchi wasn't gonna last long. However, Psi U could still stay on the hill longer without the merger, and not be known as the house that Sig Chi took over.
