honest opinions about agam versus kd ?

I'm in a diff sorority on campus, but I can whole heartedly tell you to go KD. no hazing and such a good sisterhood. It's rough at first bc girls are sad they didnt get into a top tier they wanted, but the PC definitely clicks later on (same can be said about agam) KD is chill despite what people say and theres no pressure to have fun or be anything other than yourself.

Go agam. KD hides girls during rush. A lot have dropped in the last year. Don't know a single girl happy in KD, most become resentful of their "sisters". Agam isn't perfect and aren't top tier but have good relationships with most frats and are down to earth smart and fun girls.

KD for sure. most houses on the hill actually do not like agam despite what the person above commented. They are surprisingly try hard. I have a lot of friends in KD who love it because it is very relaxed and they seem to have a lot of fun with each other. Are there some cliques and try hards in kd? definitely. but much better than agam in overall house personality and social life.

Just being honest this is very true. Im not in KD or Agam and I'm trying to just be honest. Please make sure you understand that not everything you hear about a sorority is true (aka many try to sell you a certain vibe but don't mention the true feelings in the house). Agam is in a difficult position of dropping in ranks and this has caused a divide in the sisterhood and attitudes, and many don't want to admit that they are at the bottom and not well liked on the hill. Not to say KD doesn't have its flaws. But please don't be fooled by the idea that agam is the "studious and nice chapter", because underneath this is a lot of things they don't want you to see before you join, and if you really want an enjoyable experience in a sorority I honestly don't think agam is the house to join. (I have friends in a gam who feel this way and have said this as well). Please do your research and best of luck I hope you end up in a house that you belong!!

There are always girl so in sorority that are unhappy. Especially at Lehigh. Bc Greek life is so big, many girls rush who normally wouldn't and end up unhappy. Join the house with the people who make you feel comfortbale and where you can be yourself!

I am not surprised you have been on coffee dates with these two houses because these are some of the houses that try the hardest with freshmen ( I went through that as well so ik). However, I know it seems like these are the only girls invested in you or maybe the ones you like right now, but this totally changes during rush. You think you are special but they do lunches with many many girls, and they are very try hard with the process. You should wait to see how you feel throughout recruitment and then make your decision because it seems you have already narrowed down your choices way too much. There are so many other houses out there as well that you haven't even considered! Also these two houses are really only similar in that they try too hard and they have two very different personalities so make sure you know where you belong!

Agam absolutely does not have good relations with frats. I know multiple frats cannot stand them and are trying to cut back on social events with them, my frat included. This commenter has to be in agam. KD is way more liked on the hill no question
