sorority legacy

My mom is a Lehigh sorority alum. How should I handle my legacy status ?? Will the other sororities not consider me if they know I'm a legacy ?? Want to keep my options open.

Your mom can send a letter of recommendation into the sorority she was in
Tbh nobody really cares about legacy status. It's a bonus if they like you but they'll still cut you if they don't like you

No, what I meant, is it better to let everyone know Im a legacy to a particular sorority? Or will they other groups just assume that is where I want to be??? sorry, confused.

I would mention it to girls in the house that you're a legacy at but honestly why would you even tell other houses you're a legacy somewhere else? If you said it to my face that you're a Lehigh legacy somewhere else I would think that was weird and you only wanted there, but if I just heard about it I wouldn't care at all.
