When I first got my bid to this chapter, I was so excited. I thought that I had found a diverse groups of girls who would love and accept me no matter what. A couple years later, I can look back and reflect on my alpha gam experience. I had some of my best memories being apart of this chapter, but also some of the worst. There were times when I would walk into the house and feel so uncomfortable. No one would talk to me or they would just stare at me until I left. When it came time for recruitment, I had to sit in a room the entire time and was not allowed to rush because I wasn’t pretty enough and all they talked about was how we wanted “cute” girls. It is really hard on your self-esteem when people who claim to love and care about you keep you hidden away because they don’t think you’re an asset to the chapter. I tried my hardest to put as much time and effort into this chapter as I could, but in the end, I got so little out of it. Towards the end of my time with this chapter, there was so much fighting and pettiness that I knew that I was making the right choice in leaving. This chapter has so much potential, but the way it’s set up in little cliques, they are headed in a bad direction.

Not a single true friend will you meet in this sorority. If you’re searching for a sorority that you’d like to call home then I advise you not to come here. You want to have the true sisterhood, the one where you won’t go to an outing and be the one girl sitting alone while everyone chooses to act so inconsiderate. If you’re looking for a group of girls that are at the bar almost every night and failing most of their classes then choose here!! But if you aren’t the “party every night” kind of person, then be prepared to be left out of the multiple cliques that are formed. You won’t feel loved, or wanted here. They enjoy their parties and aren’t very concerned about the true friendship.

Since these guys have moved on campus they all are so nice and always by far have the cleanest house out of any fraternity in Greek Village. There practically one of the only fraternities that are even allowed to host parties because they are in good standing with the school. Keep up the good work guys!
