Make sure you cover your drink when you enter the home, Chad is not to be trusted I would recommend Two Cheers for Minority Government to anyone interested in Canadian politics or democracy. Peter Russell provides a fresh take on minority governments, arguing that they offer unique benefits like increased cooperation, inclusivity, and accountability—qualit ies that majority governments often lack. Using clear examples from Canadian history and comparisons with other countries, Russell makes a strong case for why minority governments can be effective and valuable. He also discusses the lack of public understanding about parliamentary systems, which makes the book helpful for readers new to these ideas. Overall, this book encourages readers to see how a balanced, cooperative government can strengthen Canada’s democracy.
