transfer student/ will receive a.a. this may/18 yr
by: Help please?'19
Are fall transfer students typically welcomed and likely to receive a bid if they have things to offer a particular sorority?( SGA, Senior Class President, leadership in numerous clubs, community service awards, honor societies, volleyball, etc...) Based on last year's 2015 recruitment approx. what percentage of the girls who went through recruitment actually got a bid from at least one sorority? Finding a lifelong sisterhood is extremely important to me during my college years and beyond. I am not a legacy, but will have recommendation letters from my teachers, aunts, friends, and that were in/currently in most every one of your twenty-one sororities.
Curious how recruitment with transfer students works for transfer student w/an A.A.?
Thank you for any input or suggestions.:)

There are 18 sororities not 21... And it honestly just depends on if you have connections (inside the house, not recs; they honestly get thrown out) and if they truly think you'll fit in. If not then it doesn't matter at all what you "have to offer" bc every girl has a stellar high school resume.

1. You will have your Associates Degree, which techinally makes you a junior. We typically are looking for a 4 years out of our girls. If you are awesome and have recs you should be OK.... If you were a true freshman.
2. You can't get recs from actives but it doesn't hurt to have connections. Connections do not equal rec letters.
3. @^ don't even pretend every girl has a stellar resume. This is Ole Miss... Come on stellar here isn't stellar any states east or west of us.
4. And if you are real YOU GAVE OUT WAAAAY TOO MUCH INFO. We all check/post Greek rank. You gave out enough to be tied. How many girls will already have an AA, Senior class president and volley ball. Also if you were so awesome in HS why did you go to a 2 year to begin with.
5, 6 and 7.... TROLL
