Will they have a house?? I would say most likely, based on the amount of resources their nationals seem to have. They sure are putting their all into these SEC efforts, and it's paying off for them.

Yeah Alpha Phi is working very hard on building up a presence in the SEC. Their chapter at Alabama is doing well regardless of all the hate they got. You can't deny they got some real beauties. Same at Kentucky, they are gorgeous there. Ole Miss, they are also doing well to be do new.

If Alpha Phi passed AGD, that means they've also passed DG and DPhiE and are on the same level as Gamma Phi and DZ. sooooooo, doubt it. Also why does everyone on here seem to know so much about AGD? It's creepy

I was just assuming that they could easily pass DG & probably DPhiE because like someone else said, they gave much stronger nationals than dphie. As for DG, I think girls would rather go somewhere new with a clean slate than join DG which gas been plagued with a bad rep for decades.

DG hasn't been plagued with a bad rep for "decades." Just as AGD has not. A small group of girls destroyed the upstanding reputation they had just as AGD did. DG is working hard to correct a mistake others made just as all of the houses with scandals are. They have improved greatly and girls do choose the house and love them. Just as others choose SDT and AGD. "Bottom tier" does not mean "last choice".

How did a small group of girls destroy DG's rep? They just are not strong in recruitment or all-around. Every year they are calling girls & trying to give snap bids. I chalk it up to them being one of the last ones on campus and not having such a great physical house.

I have never heard of this. If you are indeed referring to the "ghost bride" story, well then I don't think that would affect a sorority to become bottom tier LOL. AGD will never improve as long as they keep cutting gorgeous girls to avoid the competition or because they are jealous.

I agree with most of your points, but I don't think its true that DG has had steadier improvement than AGD. Both those sororities have been improving as the university gets more and more competitive. But AGD is solidly above DG I would say.

That DG and AGD have both shown improvement. It's good to see that these two houses support each other in their growth when it seems so many in Greek life and on campus want to tear them down.

It's more like a job interview than rush. PCMs (potential colony members) sign up to indicate interest, then national representatives come in and conduct interviews and pick the colony class based on which PCMs are the best fit. Then a pref ceremony is held. Depending on the sorority, bids are handed out during pref or bid day is held separately.

Also, be aware that APhi will probably require a rec. They did at Bama and I think they did at Kentucky, Ole Miss, FSU, LSU, etc.
