transferring sorority membership

by: Deep secret

Alright I'm braced for rude and fake responses. I've read my schools page and this one. I have a secret no one knows. I'm transferring to Georgia from another Georgia state school. I'm in a pretty solid almost top sorority and from what I know it's the same at UGA. I was going to start in January but deferred to make up my mind. I will be a junior. Our process for accepting transfers is pretty easy, and 8 times out of 10 it works in the girls favor. Georgia as we all know is pretty competitive. Since bylaws can be different by chapter to chapter. I'm really dreading telling my sisters but education is what college is actually about.

If what you say is true and you are in good standing with a good GPA and are coming from say Georgia Southern or maybe Georgia State you are probably OK. But if we are talking about GCSU, KSU or Valdosta or any of the others with cardinal directions if might be a lot harder.

I transferred from a Florida state school. At my FL school we were a top house at UGA somewhere in the middle. It was a process but I love my letters regardless. I feel like I am lucky because when I come home my "old" sisters are still awesome and cool with me. Good luck but I have hear horror stories depending on the house.

Most are pretty lenient on transfers unless you really aren't a good fit for the house.
