I like the commment about taking the FACTS to panhellenic and let them judge....stop all the accusations if you don't have the facts. All this I heard, she heard, is crap.

for certain: after reading the comments from alumni, its clear that sororities had classier women in years past. Not so much now. I thought you had to be smart to get into UGA! These comments lead me to believe the Greek system at UGA is full of small town wannbees from the toddlers and tiaras mold. Something no really smart, ambitious girl in college would want to affiliate with! Harvard girls would laugh at you if they read this crap.

It might interest you to know that AOPi is one of the only sororities that actually honors the process of calling alumnae women if their legacies (daughter, sister..) get cut. This is in order to prevent the chapter for cutting legacies for no reason - why they were cut is explained to the alumnae. Most other sororities and chapters do not use that common courtesy anymore.

There is also a minimum # of legacies that have to be accepted... so implying that AOPi doesn't accept as many legacies as other chapters on campus is ridiculous. Many other chapters do not practice this rule either.

Furthermore, AOPi doesn't have a lower % of legacy acceptance than any of the other sororities on campus. Any legacy who gets cut from the sorority they would like to join is going to be upset. But as much as they'd like to, chapters cannot take every legacy going thru rush bc there are simply too many & quota is strict. Sorry, but that's the truth.

Instead of coming on this site to criticize sororities that you have no idea about, why don't you focus on your own? Every sorority has its own set of rules and its own practices, so you really have no place in telling any sorority how they should choose their PNMs... you simply don't have the facts and everything you say is based off of opinion/hearsay/emotions.

Sux to be hated by so many that you have to up your status on a website because you cannot do it in real life. Truly the sign of a fragile , immature, pitiful sorority. Go ahead and enjoy. This is the only place you will be able to manipulate your way to number one. Unfortunately for you , you cannot copy and paste the comments people make about you in real life.

look at the comment ( referring to "story") and the time posted. It is clearly a cut and paste from a comment posted originally on ZTA's page.

has no social life and this is why they have all the time in the world to sit on this site and post comments about how they were once great. Take a few tips from your founders because you are nothing like the women described in the below comments.

sorority! My roommate hates it & all their rules about what to wear, who to sit with, what frat parties they can go to--real wannabies--probably all the girls that never quite made it to the popular group in high school--quit trying so hard--you look goofy!
