bids

Yeah, there definitely are, but not getting a bid isn't always the worst thing. I went through recruitment in the Fall and got released. I was SO upset at the time. I thought my chance of finding the perfect sisterhood was gone. Then, spring recruitment came around and I got a bid to the perfect house for me! I couldn't be happier now, and it's all because I got released in the Fall. If I didn't, I never would have joined my sorority. So please, don't let the fear of being released keep you from going through recruitment. Even if it does happen (which is still pretty unlikely, by the way, since most girls DO end up with a bid), it doesn't mean you can't still find an amazing sorority to call home! Especially with DPhiE coming to campus in the fall, bringing yet another recruitment opportunity! Trust that it will all work out in the end. It did for me!

A lot of girls (around 400) do either get cut or dropped. I knew girls who got cut after house tours. That's why when they say there are bottom tiers and top tiers and such they really are wrong about that. Like 5 years ago that was true but not anymore. With these new sororities colonizing everything will change! Good luck and don't worry about it!!! Everyone is excited to meet you!!
