If you get a bid from XO,KAT,PhiMu,ADPi then you are very lucky and obviously a top choice. If you get a bid from AXO,DDD,KD,AOPi or ZTA then you are also very lucky and should be happy. They are all very good in different ways

Also if you look at XO sideways it looks like a face closing its eyes and opening its mouth. Food for thought.

Actually, if you get a bid from any sorority you should be very happy. They all have positives

Rush at UGA is brutal. Many girls don't get bids at all and get dropped from their "favorite" house early on. Just have fun, meet new friends. If you get a bid from any group, you are lucky. It's very cut-throat.

every bid doesn't = a happy girl. Don't believe the hype, I know several that didn't get what they wanted & decided to just go with the bid they got, some quit & some are miserable with houses that don't fit them. You don't have to just take anything, it wouldn't be the end of the world to drop out & let someone else have the spot that you don't want. I'd rather have a happy pledge then someone who is unhappy & always dissing. We aren't suppose to tell you that though ; )

agree with "not so." If you just can't in a million years see it working out with a particular house, ir might not. Personally I think that is a bit of a self-fulfilling prophesy... But if you receive a bid to a house which you liked but maybe wasn't your first choice or maybe you heard some tent talk about them that didn't add up, I would say give it try! Oftentimes it works out really well. Sometimes it doesn't, but a lot of times it does.

This board is messed up. The actual top tier sororities (best all-around) in the real world at UGA (not the fantasy world of this web site) are XO, PhiMu, KAT, ADPi, and KKG. Followed by AOPi, ZTA, KD, DDD and AXO.

The top national sororities are XO,DZ,DG, DDD,ZETA,KKG,AXO,PBP, KD and APhi(not at UGA). Look it up. The comment below is just another blatant attempt to try to say that nothing has changed and those are the top. It just is not true. There has absolutely been change.

National Rankings don't really matter. You graduate, get on with your life, and keep in contact with the friends you made in college. What DOES matter, though, are the four years (or more) you'll spend at UGA in a sorority. While all the sororities at UGA are great, there are some sororities that are more desired than others. They are KAT, XO, PM, KD, ZTA, ADPi, and KKG. Just being totally honest.
