stop giving yourself a nervous breakdown - it's one or two girls doing ALL of this. Seems like someone took the time to run the board stating that each house wasn't that strong at UGA. It's all silly.

The only sorority that did not have that statement of " not that strong" was DG. Just a fact. Not saying they did it.

DG did have that comment just look at 9/15. Don't know who it is...but it's not us.

There are some sororities that are on the rise that haven not been at the top before and there are some sororities that were top 5 years ago that are now at the bottom. The sororities that have historically been strong at UGA don't like change - obviously. They don't like change in the South or in Greek Row. In the older days , girls would flock to them just because the were xyz or abc. All sororities these days have to rush well in order to get well rounded girls who strengthen their sorority. These historically good sororities don't think they should have to change and work for it and had some bad rushes this year. This is why there are some new top sororities coupled with the fact that since the south is becoming more of a melting pot so are the sororities. The ones from who are strong in regions of the country are now becoming more well known down south because some of their family members are in the Georgia area. Ie..a girl from TX would hear about KAT, XO, KKG and PBP.

So TX girls might be interested in joining sororities that her hometown, family and friends would recognize. Girls from Kansas might join AXO, GPB and so on.
