does it make people mad that there is a clear old row? (Adpi, Phi Mu, XO, KAT, & KKG)

Old Row is a group that has tried to define itself by age and location. It does not include some sororities that are older and some that are in the same location. Really what does age and location have to do with how good or bad you are? It says nothing about who you are as a sorority. And can you not define yourselves alone. Or do you have to hang on to each other for support?

I think it's just easier to refer to those 5 houses as old row because you don't have to specifically name them. Everyone knows who you are talking about.

The rest of milledge doesn't seem to need an "easier" way to refer to themselves. And that is not really the way it has been used. The Old Row name has been used to make statements over and over that imply "we are better than all of you" we are this group and you are not. And why doesn't it include older houses on the same block as you?

If basing it on demographics then some of the sororities called New Row would be included in old row. If basing on age then some of the sororities are also being excluded. This is why it sororities should not be labeled. Oh and the comment about this is Ga and it does exist is not good enough. This is 2011 no 1865. When are some people going to catch up to the present.

there is no Old Row at Georgia. And if there were they would include all the houses who are older not just some. It's code for "we're more exclusive". From what I can see that bit them in the you know where this year. Old Row did not do nearly as well with many girls cutting them and going to other houses. I predict the demise of these houses unless they get their act together and actually work for pledges not assume they'll come because gosh darn it doesn't everyone wants to join their house!

Based on the info below the true old row sororities would be : Phi Mu, XO, AGD, KD, ADPI, DDD, AOPI, and Theta . The rest of the 17 would be considered new row.

If you base it on demographics: South vs N Milledge then your old row would not soley be ( ADPI, PHI MU, KKG, THETA AND XO ). Look at a map. It would included AGD, ZETA, KD, PBP, DZ, SK, DDD, AOPI, DG also. The only sorority not on south milledge is AXO
