sorority comments

sad. The only fun part of rush is the opening ceremony.I remember all the screaming and shouting of the girls who got their first choice. Don't remember anyone being upset at all - everyone was happy getting a bid. But the anticipation was a rush (pardon the pun!)

The most fun is raging with your new sisters. I loved all the bid day gifts. I can't even remember my gamma chi's name and that was 3 years ago. You must not love your sorority. The fun began when you stepped off the bus. Watching a bunch of gamma chis reveal their sororities...boring! We knew what their houses were anyway thanks to facebook.

Wow - of course you're correct once you're in your new house it was terrific. I was thinking more about actual rush - which I thought was hell - but the ceremony was fun and such a relief.

I loved the BS at Tate - thought it was a blast!

trying to stir up rumors and trouble. Please let everyone enjoy their new pledges and bid night festivities. You are not even in a sorority or you would not be on here right now. And no, I am not in a sorority because I dropped out of rush this year. Whoever you are just give it a rest

Anytime old row does not do well there is some excuse. Anytime new row houses dont'do well it is because they are not old row. Old row is so snooty and has there minds made up on who they want before rush and then cuts the others before even getting to know them. They end up snap bidding. It most certainly is your fault that you are snap bidding. If you did not have your noses up in the air and would give others a chance and actually make an effort to get to know the other girls then you might meet quota without snapping. All of these sororities had lots of legacies. You cannot even use that excuse this time. Times have finally changed.
