I doubt you would want your daughter in a group so socially inept and stupid!

Please tell me there are not actually PARENTS on this site fighting about Rush. Honestly, it's no one's business but the girls who went through it and the girls who are in the sororities. Yes, you might be upset for your daughters, but GreekRank- a website designed for college-aged coeds- is not the place to be bashing chapters you have little or nothing to do with. Sororities are different than they were in the past, and your daughter might not fit in the same house you loved so dearly. Instead of freaking out because she got cut, you should encourage her to look at other houses and be happy if she finds the true sisterhood she rushed for in the first place. Your daughter is not the same person you were at her age, and the chapter you joined is not the same either. Accept it, please, and get over it so your daughters can, too.

My D just received a call from her high school friends and she is on the list at KD! They have it posted at the house. OMG! It is over for her now! SHe can relax and enjoy her night tonight.

I was one and now I have to listen to the squeals of joy all over my hall. I don't know what y'all were looking for but apparently it wasn't for a girl with a spotless reputation and high GPA. It has possibly been the worst experience of my life. Someone should have warned me. Never again

wrong, its not different than it was in the past...its the same process, same issues, and same experience, good and bad. Humans are humans. So sorry that some get hurt in this - its not for the faint of heart as they used to say in the old days.

should let this process define their self worth. It is a flawed system and there are always some really smart precious girls who slip through the cracks. There is more to college years than sorority life. A little time and perspective will do wonders.

You are wrong Dear. I have spoken to 2 other Mom's who know the lists are posted at their daughter's houses as well. Clearly, you are not up to date with the ins and outs of rush at UGA. If a house does not have their list posted then they are working out Snap bids to make quota.
