My daughter will be going through rush this year and she just emailed this link to me. Shame on all of you. I am proud to say I was a PhiMu in the early 80's. I had great friends at the Theta house, ChiO, ADPi, you name a house and I had a friend there. There was NONE of this name calling business and we all went along to get along. Anonymous sites like this bring out the bully in many cowards and I can assure you if you had to put a name with a comment each of your mouths would be dripping with honey. This makes the entire greek system look bad. I am now trying to reassure my daughter that 1) this is not an accurate representation of ANY of the houses and 2)she won't lose her lifelong friends if they pledge another house. I am sure this is a very few who get on this site over and over and not as widespread as it would seem. It is cowardly and I know EACH of you know better and must feel bad every time you post such hateful comments.

please tell your daughter there are only a handful of people who get on here and post. same ones over and over. all the houses get along with one another and this site is NOT representative of greeek life at UGA. This site is not accurate-the more popular a house the more negative comments about them. there is no number one house at UGA. the number one house is the one you are in. good luck with rush and tell your daughter she is lucky to be a legacy at a very good house!

Sorry that a girl going through rush soon has a poor perception. However, do not think that the mother should have even mentioned any sorority names including her own. Phi Mu may not appreciate the fact that alumni are on greek rank. Most sororities frown upon commenting on this site. It could be that most of the comments are not even coming from current greeks at UGA and the mother just assumed this. Commenting using sorority name along with the comment was in poor taste imo but think intentions were good.

I for one applaud Mom for her post. All sororities frown upon posting here for good reason, but anybody reading this is automatically in violation of good taste by simply being on this website, myself included. for using her sororities name to condemn the site. She said herself it was her first and only visit to the site, and she condemns it. I don't think using her soror's name in doing so is out of line. I myself haven't been here since I was a freshman, and from the looks of it nothing has changed in the last 3 years. I wish I hadn't even remembered about it.

Why did you come back? Is it because of rush? Really? It makes one wonder what you are doing back on here if you found it so appauling. You comment is not plausible.

I applaud the mom for saying her sorority. It would have been hypocritical for her to condemn people who go on here anonymously and then not state her rank and file. I do not think it was in poor taste and just proved her point about all the anonymous cyber bullies on here. And apparently, she is still proud of her greek affiliation. WTG Mom!

Ready for rush to be over now. Don't even want to admit being greek after this site. So pitiful how some are on here 24/7. Don't you guys/ladies realize these comments don't make a sorority better or worse?
