sorority comments

Greek life at UGA is great. It's a shame that some people keep trying to imply some are better than others - nicer, prettier, more popular etc. etc. Easy to say impossible to prove - and who cares - let's have a great year!

It would be nice to be able to be positive and go on your own board and say why you chose your sorority and why they are special to you. However, the mean girls will accuse you of self- ranking and then proceed to give you pages of ones. Unfortunately, that's how it works at UGA. Too bad.

Being a top sororitiy has different meaning to each one of us. So I don't think we will all ever agree.

If your top sororities on campus rank is based on popularity / well known prior to rush: PHI MU, ADPi, XO, KKG, KAT, ZTA, KD, AOPi

If your top sororities on campus is based on best party sororities it your rank would look like:

KKG, PHiMu, Adpi,KD, ZTA Aopi, DDD, SK

If you feel the your top sororities are ones that have classiest behavior/known for "good values" then your rank would be :

KAT, Xo, DDD, AXO, GPB, PBP, AGD

If you rank based on most likely to succeed / future oriented:
KAT, DDD, AOPI, XO, AXO, PBP, GBP

If your top sororities are most likely to win a beauty pageant then your top would be: ZTA, KD, DDD, DZ

there are girls who party, are popular, are driven, are good girls, future oriented and can win a beauty pageant in each of the sororities at Georgia. Go in with an open mind and find your fit. You will then have a great time.

this site has absolutely no substance and is not representative at all of the sororities at UGA. PNMS going through rush- keep an open mind. Trust me, you will know which houses you feel you fit in the most.

rule: If you don't have something nice to say, say nothing at all. All the sororities at UGA are great. All have something to offer. PNM's don't believe what you read here, it is coming from a few small people who haven't matured past seventh grade.

UGA has a wonderful greek community and there is a little bit of everything! Some like to study, some are known for beauty, for good works, some are party girls, some southern belles, and some are hipsterz..that is the great thing about being a greek at UGA. You can be who you are and still a part of something bigger than yourself

Wouldn't it be a boring world if we were all alike and interested in the same things. Just because someone does not like what another likes does not make them horrible and less desirable , just different. Stop with the hate.

it seems like KKG and XO get the most hate on this site. and ZTA. Just stop. Probably the same 3 people but it just gets really negative and tiresome after a while

KD has taken many hits too. Actually any of the sororities who are popular and interact with the public more are going to stir more comments both good and bad.
