All our groups are good. However, if you want to be a mover and a shaker on this campus, go ADPi, PM, KAT, KKG, or XO.

Below is correct. Those are the top five that everyone wants going in to rush. But you cannot go wrong with any house at UGA and the top five are not a good fit for everyone

obviously you don't know everyone! the only one of those five that you listed that most girls really like is XO. i've never met ANYONE who has said "OMG" i wanna be a kappa, theta, adpi, or phimu. please!!!! get over yourself!

I am going thru rush this fall and I can say most girls (bfore going in) talk about XO, KKG, PhiMu, ADPi and DDD. I am sure once I go thru I will be impressed with some of the others but these are the ones that seem to generate the most buzz

I have mostly heard those are the top houses and then the newer houses like KD, ZTA and AOPi. I just plan to go in with an open mind

very careful in your selection. I started last year as one of 5 friends rushing. I am the only one left. The others dropped over the summer. They were all in so called top tier houses and hated them. I am in a small house with great girls and having a wonderful time. Make sure you like your freshman pledges!!!!

all in all you have to go where you feel comfortable. I think most who drop out do so because they pledged on name only (as in a top tier house) and not where their heart was.

same thing happened to me! My best friend ended up joining a top tier house and i joined a bottom tier house, but she joined based on rankings and i joined because i really liked all the girls and could see them as my friends. well, she ended up dropping really quickly and im still in my sorority and LOVE it! the best way to join a sorority is to find a place where you fit in, not based on the sororities rankings!
