sorority comments

every house at UGA is great. that said, i would say the most sought out during rush are (no order)PM, XO,ADPi,KKG,and KAT. However, once rush starts alot of girls realize these are just the houses they have heard were the best. many go on to choose other houses where they are more comfortable. it's all about perception and those are the ones that are just viewed as more exclusive.

agree with below. I am in one of those houses and heard alot about all of those bfore rush. But know what? once rush started I realized that with the exception of 2 or 3, ALL houses have some really smart, talented, beautiful girls. No one house is "the best"

You need to go where you are the most comfortable. All the sororities at UGA are great! Just because some are more exclusive or have a better reputation, you shouldn't let that affect your decision.

also depends which part of the country you are coming from. The list presented by IMO were not popular where I live - nothing wrong with them at all - just not the ones I had heard of. Now I am here I think all the Houses are fun with great girls.

Different sororities have different reputations all across the country. But, since we are on UGA's sorority page, let's just concentrate on them. I agree with IMO below, the most sought after sororities at UGA are: ADPi, PM, KAT, KKG, and XO.

with IMO. Where I am from PiPhi is very popular. I got here and they are great girls but prob not one of the most well known- Never even heard of KAT till I got here and they are very popular. I would say prob the best known in the south are XO and PhiMu. Overall, ALL houses here are full of talented ladies!!

heard of KAT or PM - PiPhi is also popular where I live. Now I'm here I love everything Greek at UGA - it's full of great girls.

AGD is obviously recruiting everyone they know to rank them up high before rush hits this summer. What is sad is people will see when they get there how inaccurate this page is. Yes, some are nice but this is a sign of a desperate sorority !

I couldnt disagree with the post below more!! AGD is a classy sorority with sweet girls, and yeah, they havent been at the top for some years but they definitely have been greatly improving! AGD isnt easy to get into anymore, especially since they have such great girls in it now!

No sorority is "easy" to get into at UGA. AGD is definitely not top 3 or top 10 material. They are still a bottom tier sorority. That being said, all the sororities have pretty , respectable girls in them. AGD is just not strong at UGA. It is quite obvious that they took advantage of Greek Rank wiping the slate clean to boost themselves all the way to the top. Just look at all their comments compared to others . AGD has way many more high comments than any other sorority. Come on, do you really think people are buying this bogus junk.
