I've heard that the "old row" sororities at UGA are the best. What sororities are "old row?" Please help!

If you are going through rush in the fall, you should keep an open mind. All the UGA sororities are great! But, to answer your question, the "old row" sororities are ADPi, Phi Mu, Chi O, KAT, and KKG.

Old Row DOES NOT EXIST at UGA... it's only at Bama and Ole Miss. The first 5 sororities at UGA were Phi Mu, ChiO, AGD, KD, SDT. No such thing as old row.

of thumb - never ask which are the best sororities at UGA - it will result in pages of unsubstantiated opionions like the one below. Whilst rushing keep an open mind and look for girls with whom you would like to spend the next 4 years, whose philanthropy excites you and whose moral code fits your own. You could be very unhappy if you pick a sorority based upon someone elses opinion.

SDT did open a chapter at UGA in 1924; however, that chapter closed & they didn't reinstall until 1945. Therefore they are far from old row. The sorority itself was founded in 1917
