Top sororities nationally? All of the Panhellenic sororities on our campus have large national and international reach, and all are over or nearly 100 years old, meaning the alumni network runs deep.
Some sororities have less chapters than others, but all are large sororities with tens of thousands of members.
As far as I know, we have no "local" social sororities or sororities with only a handful of chapters.

wow. people like you continue to amaze me. news flash: you can network and find connections in any sorority, regardless of its "tier". And furthermore, the truly successful people are intelligent, hard working, and driven. So yes, it does help to have connections, but it really comes down to your character. And going back to my previous post, I will stand by what I said before.

Also, consider this: DG is a top sorority at many universities. That little fact may shock people like you who hear DG and automatically think "bottom tier". And no, I am not a DG. I happen to be in one of the so-called "top tier" houses, and being a junior, I realize how completely ridiculous it is to be arguing about who's house is "the best".

A lot of the sororities "Top" listed were founded in the north and midwest, including TriDelt, AXO, KKG, DZ, and Pi Phi.
You're probably a fool who thinks Phi Mu and ADPi are the only top sororities nationally (don't get me wrong, they're great, but there are lots of other strong organizations). And staying in Georgia doesn't mean all your sisters will be there because your chapter was there. People move.

You are absolutely correct I neglected to include DG in the list of national sororities. I am not claiming that one is better than the other - I simply listed the oldest and largest sororities nationally - I have not listed Phi Mu so to the poster below not sure what you are referring to - obviously the point of my list was to reflect large national sororites so that if and when you move you can make contact with other members of that sorority not your individual chapter.

That comment was in response to the statement that "if you stay in Georgia, your top tier sisters will help you..."
