matter how much you self rank you will never be the best or top tier

oh but these rankings say otherwise.

The rankings simply reflect what ZTA thinks about itself which is fine. It does not, however, reflect what the rest of the community think.

Ohhh.. my... you must be the person who rated Zeta all 1's all those months. Hurts now, doesn't it?

think what the poster is saying is that when you go on a campaign of self-ranking and get to the top of this page, it is a reflection of how ZTA feels about ZTA. You are not getting the opinions of others. Therefore, whoever is at the top of this page has put the most effort into getting there. That does not (necessarily) make the sorority the best. Does that make sense?

order on this site is meaningless (see below). Anyone with 1/2 a brain will ignore the rankings, ignore all posts with all 1's or 5's, read the comments and take them with a grain of salt. The truth lies somewhere in between.

think that when you go on a campaign to destroy a sorority's rep, like someone has tried to do for ZTA and Phi Mu, you shouldn't complain when people rate them with all fives to get them back up. This whole site is stupid anyway. The only one who is benefiting is the owner of GreekRank. Brilliant idea-- create a site with conflict, and rake in the money on page hits while the cat fights continue.

Very not true. Being in a top tier sorority does help after college. These women tend to become the most successful in life (just go back to the famous sorority members and see which tier they came from, most likely top tier). There's a thing called "networking." You network with successful girls in college, you can use those connections as alumnae.

being in a "top tier" sorority versus any other "tier" doesn't give you an advantage post-college...being in a sorority in general after college is beneficial, networking wise. while the sororities with the most nationally recognize alums are, in my opinion, theta and kappa, you have to remember that theta and kappa are not considered "top tier" at every university.

Chi Omega
Delta Delta Delta

Kappa Delta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
