Being a top sororitiy has different meaning to each one of us. So I don't think we will all ever agree.

If your top sororities on campus rank is based on being well known prior to rush: PHI MU, ADPi, XO, KKG, DDD

If your top sororities on campus is based on best party sororities it your rank would look like:

KKG, PHiMu, Adpi,KD, ZTA

If you feel the your top sororities are ones that have classiest behavior/known for low key/no drama then your rank would be :

KAT, Xo, AXO, GPB, PBP, AGD

If you rank based on most likely to succeed / future oriented:
KAT, XO, AXO, PBP, GBP,

If your top sororities are most likely to win a beauty pageant then your top would be: ZTA, KD, DDD, DZ

If you are looking for international networking/strong national/lots of wellknown alums nationally :

KKG, KAT, PBP, XO, DDD

If you are planning to remain in the south forever and want strong local support/ well known alums from the south:

PM, ADPI, SK

post below and so true. there is not really a #1 sorority at UGA. Just different strokes for different folks!

Real Deal is really an unhappy person! All the sororities listed are certainly lucky not to have them in their sorority.

of saying mean things today, can we please all just be thankful for the things we are so lucky to have? our families, friends, our sisters in our own respective sororities and our panhellenic sisters? being greek is great, and we should be thankful for all the opportunities and memories that being involved in greek life has given us!

All the sororities you mention are great - but take your time - I am guessing that you probably don't know too much about any of the houses. There is a poster a a page or so down who itemizes pretty well what some of the houses are known for. Don't go for one just because someone else says it's good. Go for what's good for you, figure out what type of a person you are - if you are lucky you will find the perfect match!

This does give you some idea of what different houses are known for. Of course in every house you'll find all types of girls but I think this post gives you a good view. Good luck with your choice - remember don't choose a house because someone told you it's the best remain open minded!!!
