info below. That has to be your opinion bc the list is not consistent with the real rates. One of those didn't even make quota, with many snap bids and the others near the top of your list did not get a lot of their 'top' girls. I know that for a fact-that one issue should be factored in somewhere.

Underage possession
An arrest warrant was issued for University student Caroline Wingate on Tuesday.
Wingate is charged with underage possession.
?If there?s a warrant issued it usually means the person can?t be arrested at the time,? Williamson said.
He said these circumstances usually involve the need for medical treatment, but he was unable to comment on the specifics of this case.
?I don?t know if she?s turned herself in or not,? he said.
Wingate declined comment.

As a Mom who watched her daughter struggle with the recruitment process, I think it would benefit PNMs and sororities to defer rush until second semester. Getting acclimated to college life is a challenge without the whirlwind rush process tossed into the mix. I think the reasons for delaying recruitment are many, including giving sororities the chance to work together and meet to coordinate rush activities and themes, etc. after they've returned to school in the fall. This idea seems like a huge win-win to me, and I hope that somehow it will be considered by people in authority that can actually make the change. Just try it on a trial basis for a couple of years. My daughter felt pressure to rush as a freshman (I don't know why), and now is in a sorority she likes but doesn't love. The money and stress wouldn't be an issue if she were sincerely happy, but she's not. Again, letting young women learn the lay of the college landscape before rushing sounds like a grand idea.

Oh Please, there have been many arrests for underage drinking/false ID this year. Many other sororities have had multiple girls in trouble and not 1 person has commented. This posting against Kappa reeks of airing your dirty laundry. You, poster below, are no southern lady and certainly no Kappa!
