Just to reassure you most of the women in UGA sororities are warm, delightful women. It is the few "empty vessels" that always cause the most problems. I am assuming that most of these petty girls were the "mean girls" at high school. They are ignorant and as such should be ignored. As I mentioned in my previous posting if your daughter is happy with where she is pledging she will have a wonderful 4 years. The friends she makes at UGA will last her a lifetime.

My daughter graduated in MAy and was in an old row house-as was I- I can assure you that ALL houses at UGA are great and have something to offer. AND this site in no way represents how these girls interact with one another. For the most part they seem to support one another and play nice together. People will say anything when their name is not attached....as on here

we go again - just can't resist being unpleasant. Anyone is allowed to post here and have intelligent conversation - seek advice and give counsel. You miss the point - they shouldn't have problems that are caused by vindictive girls in other sororities - don't you get it?

Those copied posts two below sound strangely similar to a response from 'Kappa Exec' to my post a week earlier. I am an active Atlanta alum and I believe that I or any other alum has the right to express concern about any collegiate chapter, especially our own chapter. I, along with several other alum, have expressed that concern to our headquarters and I encourage any other concerned alum to do the same. In regard to our chapter, Kappa headquarters has taken our concerns seriously. I sympathize with anyone who has a daughter who is contemplating rush. Please know that many sororities at UGA are great and a lot of what you read on here is not true.
