I have to defend ZTA. I'm not a ZTA but have a very good friend in ZTA that I grew up with that is a ZTA and they are not fake baked like KD. I think you would def put ZTA in the same take home to parents as ADP, XO, AOP, GPB, PBP, AXO and Theta.

ZTA is not as good as it used to be. Some are nice but as a whole they are not. I would def not put them in the same category as the others. KD is worse though. The only thing Theta and Zeta have in common is that their names rhyme.

these four houses were the most sought after during rush (snaps or no snaps)
people need to understand that for these houses snaps are inevitable because they all want the same girls. sorry they are more competitive. these four houses have been frequenting SAE, KA, Sigma chi and Chi Phi all semester and the girls have all been getting along......... there isnt as much hate as everyone thinks there is. its mostly just the girls that are pissed they arent in one of these four.

Kappa is no longer in the top houses at UGA and is not as 'sought after' as it once was. I am alum of another S Milledge house and honestly, Kappa is in their worst shape ever. There is a certain set of girls from Texas who came into that chapter in recent years and brought with them some bad attitudes and bad behaviors. I have also heard from alum that KKG nationals is evaluating that chapter and I think that's a good thing. I think they should force some of the Texas set and other bad seeds into early alum status. Just clean the chapter up, get rid of the girls with character flaws, even if it brings them below chapter total. Then let them do cob and spring rush to rebuild. Some of the stronger Kappa chapters in the region would support them I'm sure. I'd rather see this happen that see them shut down. Oh and the bit about them having socials with the so called top tier frats, those frats want to have a full calendar and they can always rely on Kappa to oblige.

Agreed. The girls who came from my high school most did not go to the Sorority they originally thought they wanted. 3 went to KD, 2 to PBP, 2 to AOPi, 2 to Theta 2 to DZ - they all got their 1st choice

Girls going through recruitment are no longer going in wanting just one sorority over another because recruitment is so cut throat and the majority or houses are ALL great in one aspect or another. Sure there are those legacy girls that are die hard about their mom or sister's house but that is few and far between. The majority of houses are doing really well because the are all now getting their top choices and the girls are getting their top choices too. And as someone mentioned below, it is a mutual selection so if you look at the numbers, the good houses all made quota, which is almost all at UGA. And you should want all to make quota to keep the Greek System strong at UGA.

for most frats are ADPi, PM, Zeta, Theta, XO, KD because these girls are overall very beautiful, know how to have fun and party without going overboard, and are classy, all-around great girls at UGA. Truth.

good grief - we struggle through high school getting good grades so we can come to UGA - survive rush - and then come on this site and act like we're back at high school. Everyone acts like they KNOW which is the best - who cares - so long as you are happy where you are why on God's green earth do you care what some spiteful girls think about you and your sisters. Let them thrash around in the mud and leave the rest of us alone.
