What is up with what I have heard about KKG giving live fish to the other houses (...as good luck presents) but with tacky (and with SDT, anti-semetic) names. The Kappa's I met during rush certainly didn't seem that rude. (Note: I didn't pledge there, got cut before pref parties, but liked them though I am happy where I pledged!)

in knowing, why is Kappa considered old row when they have only been at UGA since 1948 and KD is considered new row when they have been there since 1924? Is it because KD has a newer house? Wouldn't KD be old row too?

Because they will just tell me there is no difference in all the sororities and there is such thing as Old and New Row. So I thought since people make such a big deal out of Old and New row on this site, someone would know the answer. Or are you telling me people don't know what the hell they are even talking about??? If you people are going to talk to talk, shouldn't you know the answers?

Old row is ADPi, Phi Mu, XO, Theta, and KKG because of their location. It's all location, not when they came to UGA. And, added to location, these five sororities have held a very long, strong tradition over the years as being old money sororities, too.
