I agree that KD and ZTA don't beat adpi, kappa, and phi mu...which are all old row houses...but I think the poster was saying that out of the NEW row KD, ZTA, and AOPi are best. They definiely beat DDD, SK, and all those. But those 3 old row houses are the top out of all 17 sororities.

I preffed at phi mu, kd, kkg
also loved zta adpi and kat.
after being at uga, I would say the most sought after sororities are:
phi mu, kkg, kd, adpi, zta, aopi, kat, and xo.
they're all a little different, just depends on where you fit in. I absolutely love where I pledged, but I can say that I would probably find a group of friends that I'd get along with in any of those sororities. the greek life at uga is awesome in general, so almost every pnm will be happy where they pledge and are meant to be in that house. it usually always works out. this is just my own experience, as every one has their own view.

be aware that KAT could not fill their pledge class. They had to hand out 16 snap bids. That means 16 girls that no one wanted were offered a bid to Theta at the end of rush. No one is picking Theta anymore. It is what it is. Also, XO and ADPi had to hand out snap bids. Not as many as Theta but still they had to. Zeta and Kd are easier than the others to get a bid. They are not heavily sought after.

I agree with the personal opinion post. I also preffed 3 of those 8 houses and also think that I could fit in with a group of girls in any of those houses.
as for snap bids, UGA Panhellenic used a new program to match girls with their bids to houses. That system glitched and cut girls from rounds in which they were not supposed to be cut. So many houses lost girls they did not intend to lose and girls were cut from houses where the chapter didnt cut them nor did the PNM cut them. This explains some chapters snaps. Now, that being said, not all snap bids were a result of this error, but some were.
