Well the Old Row sororities you're interested in (ADPi, XO) you will definitely need recs from. New row is less intense about recs, but you should still get at least one per sorority. Maybe focus on getting three good, solid recs for the below sororities you're interested in. They're helpful for us during rush because they give us an outsider's opinion of you and they usually list your hobbies/activities so we have things to talk to you about other than the typical rush questions.

you are in a old row or new row sorority then don't give out rush advise. You couldn't possibly know the rush practices of a sorority that you are not in. The reference to needing a rec for Old row being more important than a rec for
new row is wrong. I am in New row and yes we can/will cut you early on without a rec. We simply have to due to the large number of girls rushing. It gives us a reason to do so. GET RECS FOR ALL HOUSES

Ok, nationally the top sororities are Pi Phi, Kappa, Theta, Tri Delt, Chi Omega, Delta Gamma and Alpha Phi (not necessarily in that order). Point being, the world does not revolve around UGA or the south. Some of the sororities that are strong at SEC schools have NO presence or prestige elsewhere. Expand your horizons people.
